Oh my - so we're going to go with what the "tough on terror" Clinton administration said?? The same Clinton administration that refused to pick up OBL when offered 3 times because Blowjob Bill didn't think he could prosecute OBl criminally?
2. BUSH IGNORED THE HART-RUDMAN COMMISSION TERRORISM REPORT, WHICH OUTLINED A RANGE OF U.S. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS AND STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES.
Yep, it's indeed all Bush's fault! I love it when liberals try to pretend they're tough when it comes to our foreign policy or national security. You get the feeling they have to go brush their teeth and gargle some listerine after saying something along those lines to get rid of the taste.
3. BUSH FAILED TO GET OVER 100,000 HOURS OF VALUABLE TERRORISM-RELATED TAPINGS TRANSLATED BY LINGUISTS AT THE F.B.I, A FULL 3 YEARS AFTER 9/11. IN FACT, JOHN ASHCROFT REFUSED TO ENDORSE FBI REQUESTS FOR $58 MILLION FOR NEW COUNTERTERRORISM FIELD AGENTS, TRANSLATORS AND INTELLIGENCE ANALYSTS.
100,000 hours of terrorism related tapings?? And what's your source on that, Babs?? Sounds an awful lot like the ole black helicopter theory to me.
4. BUSH HELD NO FACE TO FACE MEETINGS WITH HIS TERRORISM CHIEF RICHARD CLARK AND NEITHER DID DICK CHENEY WHO WAS HEAD OF THE TERRORISM TASK FORCE.
You mean the Richard Clark who's been completely discredited for being a partisian asshole? How many times did Bill Clinton meet with the head of the CIA in 8 years? 3 times??
5. BUSH CONTINUED HIS VACATION ON THE DAY HE RECEIVED A BRIEFING ABOUT THE IMPENDING ATTACK ON AMERICA.
Oh, so we actually KNEW about the impending attack, so George Bush deliberatly let 3,000 people die just so he could go to war in Iraq?
6. KNOWING ABOUT THE IMPENDING HIJACKINGS, BUSH DID NOTHING TO BEEF UP AIRLINE SECURITY.

7. BUSH'S ATTORNEY GENERAL, JOHN ASHCROFT, TOLD THE ACTING DIRECTOR OF THE F.B.I. TO NOT TELL HIM ANYTHING MORE ABOUT TERRORISM.

8. BUSH WAS INACTIVE AND INDECISIVE FOR A FULL 7 MINUTES THE MORNING OF 9/11 WHEN INFORMED OF THE ATTACK ON THE WORLD TRADE CENTER. IF BUSH HAD ACTED QUICKLY AND INTELLIGENTLY, PERHAPS HE COULD HAVE GIVEN AN ORDER TO SHOOT DOWN THE PLANE HEADED TOWARD THE PENTAGON AND SAVED THE LIVES OF THOSE WHO WERE KILLED.
Ohmygosh!! A full 7 minutes!!!! And what would you have done, Babs?? Disregard the fact that "whoever" (as I'm sure it wasn't Bush) gave the order to ground ALL aircraft immediately saved an estimated 5-7 more attacks on other American cities that morning. And your hero, John Kerry, sat mystified and confused with his liberal buddies in the Senate for a full 40 minutes.
9. BUSH INVADED IRAQ WITH THE RATIONALE OF IMAGINARY WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION AND IGNORED THE REAL THREAT IN AFGHANNISTAN. NOW WE HAVE A TERRORIST BREEDING GROUND IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND OSAMA BIN LADEN AND ABU MUSSAB AL-ZARQAWI, A RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORIST, RUNNING FREE.
Maybe you didn't see the video of Osama-in the cave- bin laden?
Maybe you didn't hear about the first free elections that took place in Afghanistan. Maybe you have forgotten that the United States defeated the Taliban in Afghanistan with only a few thousand troopers, while the Soviet Union and Great Britain before have wasted thousands of lives failing. Maybe you're not paying attention that we are killing the little bastards as fast as they poke their smelly heads out of the holes they're living in??
10. BUSH IGNORED THE ADVICE OF THE GENERALS IN THE MILITARY WHO PROVED TO BE RIGHT.
Clinton's generals?? The "yes" men that were left after Clinton kicked or ran out the good guys?? Or do you mean Tommy Franks, who has repeatedly stated the President gave him what he asked for??
11. BUSH OPPOSED THE CREATION OF A DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY.
I'm sure it had nothing to do with the cost, eh? And if he opposed it so much, why is there a Dept of Homeland Security now??
12. BUSH OPPOSED THE CREATION OF THE 9/11 COMMISSION.
And you wouldn't oppose a group of let's say me and my conservative buddies sitting around and debating things about you, right?
13. MORE THAN 3 YEARS LATER, OUR BORDERS, PORTS, AND NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS ARE STILL NOT SECURE.
That would be why we've suffered dozens of attacks in America since 9/11.
14. BUSH SUPPRESSED THE RELEASE OF A CIA REPORT THAT LAYS BLAME UPON HIGH-LEVEL PEOPLE IN HIS ADMINISTRATION FOR NOT DOING THEIR JOBS IN A SATISFACTORY MANNER BEFORE 9/11.
blah blah blah - I believe this has been proven to be a report written by security wonks in the CIA acting on their own agenda, Babs. Not only that, but since when do you - a hollywood leftist -believe ANYTHING the CIA says?? I thought the CIA was responsible for killing JFK and bringing cocaine into the LA streets - which CIA are you going to support?
15. BUSH FAILED TO SECURE NEARLY 400 TONS OF KNOWN, DEADLY EXPLOSIVES IN IRAQ, AND NOW THEY MAY FALL INTO THE WRONG HANDS TO BE USED TO BLOW UP AIRPLANES, LEVEL BUILDINGS AND DETONATE NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
What nuclear weapons, Babs?? I didn't think there were any of those floating around out there? You mean the "400" tons that turned out to be 3 tons? You mean the "400" tons that dissapeared out from under the noses of the UN inspectors? What about the tens of thousands of tons of munitions we did destroy? You can't have it both ways, Babs.
IF BUSH HAD DONE ANY OF THESE THINGS, WE WOULD BE A SAFER MORE SECURE COUNTRY TODAY AND POSSIBLY COULD HAVE PREVENTED THE TRAGEDY OF 9/11.
And, if Bill Clinton hadn't turned tail and run from Somolia, bombed an asprin factory in the Sudan, ignored the building terrorist threat that attacked the WTC in 93, our embassies in Africa, etc etc etc, then maybe this wouldn't have happened.
Or, maybe it would have. In case you haven't noticed, there is a group of people in this world who would like nothing more than to have your (jewish, by the way) ass on a platter.
As I've said before, the sooner the Democrats rid themselves of idiots like Barbara Striesand, the sooner they will win more elections.
