Is the American press finally getting the message about the current regime?

A member of the press corps (or is that, corpse, Mr. President?)

asked for the meeting “to clear the air because in my 10-plus years at the White House, rarely have I sensed such a level of anger, which is wide and deep, among members over White House practices and attitude toward the press.

I mean really? Come on fellas. Surely you can't be surprised. Anyone with half a brain could see this coming. The Obama administration (and the campaign before that) have a fairly long history of getting rid of people and agencies they don't like as well as removing access for those that don't toe the party line.

Between kicking members of the press out of the recent (worthless) nuclear summit, ditching the press in a "historic" (yes, let's use that term, shall we?) first over a soccer game that never happened and not holding a press conference (rather than reading from his teleprompter and then scurrying off) in months - are you really surprised that the regime sees you as useful idiots?

And, in typical fashion for the regime there was lots of talk, but "no immediate global solutions."
