Jerusalem Post | Breaking News from Israel, the Middle East and the Jewish World

On the surface, this is starting to look like either a tragic accident or Darwin at work. The man killed by the police was seen leaving a suspected terrorist 'hideout'. He was wearing a thick coat in the middle of the summer. And he ran from the police into the subway system. The police "may" have screwed up. I think the jury is still out and we should wait for all the facts to emerge. But I don't think the dead guy did everything in his power to stay alive - like not run from the cops. Note to British Muslims: maybe when the cops give you a hard look, or ask you to stop and be searched you should comply if you want to get home to momma.

And again, the local muslim spokesman does nothing but whine about "poor pitiful me", and just can't seem to understand why anyone would look suspiciosly at someone who looked like he was from the middle east. I mean, really. Why would anyone look suspiciously at a group of people (young arabic men) when all they have done is bomb a bunch of buildings, planes, trains, automobiles and schools up in the last couple of years.

I heard ex New York police commissioner Kerek (sp?) today on the radio trying to explain that we're not 'racially' profiling - we're 'criminally' profiling. And guess what? Young to middle aged middle eastern men fit the profile.
