I may not be very good at math, but I do believe that both of those events took place well before the United States gave its support to Israel, or England supported the United States in Iraq. Islam has agressively expanded since it's creation, regardless of how nice it's neighbors were. Yeah, if you were/are willing to live in dhimmitude, then you could manage to live under islamic law. We spent billions upon billions upon billions of our dollars ANNUALLY to try and make the Middle East a better place for it's people to live.
We, and the other Western powers, built, maintained, and managed the Saudi oil machine bringing untold trillions of dollars into the Middle Eastern economy.
We stopped genocide against Muslims in Kosovo.
Yeah, looks to me like we earned the animosity of the Muslim world.
Far as I'm concerned, they can kiss my arse.
