More wailing from CNN

While getting dressed this morning at the gym, I was suffering through CNN on the TV in the locker room. The talking heads were blathering on and on, and then their 'intelligence advisor' gets on. He starts to whine that the intelligence bill "that the President pushed through in the fall in order to not give an issue to John Kerry" might need to be tweaked.

This got the ole catfish brain working. I somehow recall that the President pushed this bill through to put an end to the sniveling of the MSM and the Jersey Gals who were whining ad nauseum that "something had to be done. And now!" That the Congress was hammering the President to pass the bill "NOW!!"

The analyst then goes on to say that "some people" are admitting behind closed doors that there could be problems with the bill. Now, here's an idea. If you want to add some credibility back into the media - let's quit calling detractors and supporters "some people". Name names. Who are these guys and gals?? I mean hell, I know "some people" who think that President Clinton was the greatest thing since sliced bread. But, to protect the innocent and the naive, I won't tell you who they are.

Regardless, I would expect to now hear the lefty's pick up on this theme that the intelligence bill, that the President "rushed" through Congress, is doomed to fail, or will not protect us with the level of safety that we require.

Once again, damned if you do, damned if you don't.
