These people want knives outlawed? Mandatory jail sentence for carrying a pocket knife? You got to be kidding me. Will these people ever learn that criminals who commit violent crimes don't care if a weapon is outlawed? They will still carry them. Maybe they should start enforcing laws that are already on the books. I'm guessing they already have laws against assault with a deadly weapon, attempted murder and murder. Get tough on the criminal. Don't take weapons out of the hands of the law abiding citizens. They have a God given right to protect themselves.
