MSNBC - Storms wipe out sea turtle nests in Florida

Once again, human intervention is humbled by Mother Nature. I always found it curious how much attention was paid to sea turtles when visiting Volusia County beaches. Don't walk here, watch out for this, etc. Yes, humans have encroached on their natural environment, and it's admirable to attempt to save the turtles. Alas, hurricanes have no conscience or social responsibility.

It's called natural selection, and proves the Mom Nature can be a bitch.

I understand you can get a deal on a few human nests, too.
