Holy crap batman. I can not believe this took place in the same city that is the home (at least for now) of the Cowboys.
I heard absolutely nothing about this in the local media before or after the event. Absolutely freaking insane.
I have a buddy who's going through SF school, who also happens to be married to a lovely Lebanese woman. She is incredulous that our society allows this kind of crap to openly happen. She says that's exactly what happened in Lebanon - they let all the radicals in, and the radicals take over.
You say I'm being paranoid? Read the opening paragraph in their invitation:
"Niether east nor west is the principle slogan of an Islamic revolution in a world of hunger and oppression and outlines the true policy of non-alliance of Islamic countries and countries that in the near future, with the help of Allah SWT, will accept Islam as the only school for liberating humanity and will not recede or sway from the policy even one step."
